MullenLowe SSP3 / MullenLowe 43 – AB InBev, Cerveza Aguila Redesign Project
MullenLowe SSP3 had the honour of designing the most valuable brand in Colombia – Cerveza Aguila. The redesign elevates its core against international brands while respecting its characterising attributes.
Cerveza Aguila has been included in moments of joy and celebration for Colombians for over 100 years. The brand has come to reflect the evolving identity and authenticity of the country and continues to celebrate the triumphs of thousands of Colombians.
To celebrate this evolution, MullenLowe SSP3 simplified the traditional elements of the brand, taking them to a higher level that fits Colombians today. They changed the colour of the label creating an element of dynamism, updated the typography and repositioned the bird to it now energetically takes flight. All this backed by the characteristic yellow that represents the franchise and a complementary colour that now unifies the brand architecture.
Cerveza Aguila renewed their image without losing its essence and revealed itself as the world’s great brands.
