303 MullenLowe appoints former Brand Agency creative duo Melita Masters + Bianca Galan-Dwyer
303 MullenLowe has snared two of Western Australia’s strongest talent – Melita Masters (left) and Bianca Galan-Dwyer (right) – as the latest creatives to join the agency.
Masters and Galan-Dwyer joined forces in 2016 at The Brand Agency, quickly establishing themselves as a first-rate creative duo with their multi-award-winning campaign ‘Let’s Thursday Like We Friday’, for the City of Perth.
Masters is the only creative in Perth to have ever won both the Art Director of the Year (2012) and Copywriter of the Year (2014) – making her the only verifiable ‘slasher’ (art director slash writer) in the industry. While Galan-Dwyer has quickly carved out a reputation as one of the most talented emerging art directors on the scene in WA and beyond.
Between the two of them, they have fifteen years’ experience and have worked across a wide range of clients including: Bankwest, MSWA, UWA, Mental Health Commission and the Road Safety Commission.
Commenting on the appointments, 303 MullenLowe ECD, Richard Berney, said: “The moment I saw the ‘Let’s Thursday Like We Friday’ campaign, I looked up who was behind it. That was my favourite campaign last year because it was such a difficult sell, and it was done with such sticky panache – a dish I’m looking forward to seeing served up as part of every 303 project from here on in.”
Senior copywriter, Melita, added: “It’s exciting to start a new era with Richard and the team at 303 MullenLowe. Bianca and I are both thrilled to join this bunch of talented folk who have long been an inspiration for us.”
Masters and Galan-Dwyer will commence in their roles with 303 MullenLowe immediately.
