Axe/Lynx’s new “Find Your Magic” campaign, which seeks to appeal to men who do not fit traditional notions of machismo, continues with a musical spot about the Unilever brand’s hair products.

Ponce (part of global creative network MullenLowe Group) created the ad, which attempts to alleviate the fear among some men that putting too much effort into a hairstyle will make them seem vain. The spot shows men performing mundane tasks (frying an egg, folding sheets) as women look on in admiration, and features a song about being more than just a hairstyle, sung to the tune of James Blunt’s You’re Beautiful.
